I understand that to enter trials front and rear recovery points are required. Can anyone recommend a cheap, (and simple) solution to fitting a front recovery point to a 1975 SWB Series 3? Any help appreciated. |

Hi Dick To be honest you need to think about saftey more than cost. The idea of a cheap recovery point flying through the air scares me. My series use to have the standard recocovery eys that bolt to the top of the bumper, very very strong and secure and im sure I only paid about £25 for both of them. Any good mail order company sell them although I do tend to use Paddocks more than any. |

Matthew Thanks for the response, yes, I should have added safe as well as cheap and simple. The idea you suggested seems ideal as it doesn't seem to protrude from the front. I did call Paddocks and they seemed to think what I was describing was a Nato Eye but they weren't made any more. I'll try some other stores and look at magazine ads. Do you know of any other good suppliers? Thanks again. Dick |
