Does anyone know about the Ashcroft Rover SD1 five speed conversion for series Landies. The company state they no longer produce the conversion and cann't / won't give any further details.
What I want to know is
(a) What was involved / supplied by Ashcrofts in mating the gearbox to the transfer case
(b) Does the engine or gearbox need relocating (as their current conversion using the LT77 gearbox)
Alternatively does anyone know Des Pick whose scratch build SIII is featured in thecurrent issue of LRO
Thanks

A lot of mechanics, english too, helping in the forum and have nearly all dates and a answer for your question, naturally in english. cu del Silencio

I think Ashcroft have started producing this kit again. No harm in asking!
